This place was just a perfect match for a weekend break in Oskaloosa with best value. They let us check in early and even offered us coffee before our trip. Requesting a ground floor room will save you some hassle.

What a charmingly quaint place! The bathroom sink water was only tepid at best, and that metal-bed noise could wake the dead. I almost left a glowing review until I realized a room upgrade for my troubles was too much to ask. How hard can it be to treat someone like a VIP?

Clean hotel in a nice building very close to local sites. Immaculately clean rooms with 2 beds, incredible staff. Marvellous comfy location, in the middle of jackson.

everything was perfect during 1 day, really enjoyed its perfect and comfortable location really close to the adjacent abandoned restaurant and of course the game and oskaloosa. we got neat and updated room with fridge as well as microwave.

Quiet and comfortable room made for a pleasant stay.
The air conditioning unit didn't function well, leading to a restless night. The bathroom sink water barely reached a warm temperature, quite disappointing. To make matters worse, I felt rushed during check-out when the front desk called me at 11 am, despite the hotel not being fully booked.

I really enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the vending machines were super convenient. The pool was a nice way to unwind after a busy day, and the fitness center had plenty of options to help me stay on track. One little thing was that the towels could be updated, but that didn't take away from my overall experience 😊
